Embracing the Unknown

It is not often that you will find me posted in the library on Saturday when it is 50 degrees outside, but I am embracing the unknown. A few perks of being at the library on Saturday is that there are few people here, meaning my favorite Mac computer is open (Score!). I can answer my phone and not feel too bad for bothering others in the computer lab area... because as I mentioned earlier, there are approximately 7 people here in a lab area of typically 60 or more. I also can enjoy eating snacks without multiple eyes looking at me... I'm sorry for my loud crunching, I enjoy my apples too much some days.
Although it is unusual to find me spending my Saturday at the library, I have reasonable cause. I am in the process of designing brochures, flyers, donor cards, and even a website for various clients. I am used to spending time creating flyers for events, but entering the world of code has been a challenge. Luckily, I have the help of Newton, a classmate and Creative at Fourth Avenue Design. We both will continue to embrace the unknown (especially through coding), but with the hopes that we continue to gain new knowledge and skill sets.
I speak from current experience, developing an advertising agency is difficult. Though, as we dig deeper into this new adventure, I find myself loving the challenge it disperses amongst us all. I also found that spending my Saturday at the library isn't so bad and possibly even better than any other day of the week.

I encourage everyone to embrace something unknown because you may just find that you love the uncertainty of what is to come and how exceptionally amazing the outcome can be.
